Yeah that happens when the track is closed. Usually they close it when a bad accident happened or a vehicle lost oil/fluids. In the webcam picture you can see cars lining up on the track. Those are the cars that have a ticket for another lap..they just finished one and are waiting for their next one. They are parked there however because... yup.. the track is closed A looooong long time ago (2 years ago lol) you had to start your next lap (if you have another ticket obviously) by exiting the track. But because the parkinglot and the traffic exiting the parkinglot to the entrance is VERY crowded at times, traffic would completely jam/stop.. so now you can stay on the track if you want to do another lap. Brrr bad English, hope you understand.

Anyway, there were 3 big closures today. 1 totalled Vectra, 1 totalled GT3, 2 totalled bikes and some little damages here and there. Just another Sunday.

Swift sport is nice, good suspension for such a little and cheap car.. it's the little "hothatch" these days , very underestimated. Handling-wise very close to the Clio's, too bad they don't have so much power but I'm sure there are aftermarket possibilities ?

Usually a 1.5-way (clutch type) is good enough for most applications. 2-way doesn't work really well on a fwd and a 1-way (helical) is not suifficient really.

Be careful when looking for an MR-S. Much engine problems because of pre-cat failure , excessive oil usage can be a result of little cat particles sucked back into the engine. Be wise and look out for one that had the engine replaced not too long ago and/or one which had the pre-cats removed (you can fit an aftermarket header which solves the problem). Other then that, terrific car but bit underpowered.

I race anything "they" throw at me, could be anything from a SUV to a hothatch. Someone has to do the dirty job. lol. I don't complain though.

@ Tristan : you got a 3s-ge in that F3 ?

I've been busy with the Elise 111R/Tuned. It's a blast do drive around Suzuka.. with the right setup it's fast and challenging, constantly driving on the limit of grip. This isn't arcade I can tell for sure. But I must say though, some cars feel more "real" compared to others. So far both the Elises and the Z06 really feel very realistic.. cars like the Evolution IX and the Integra Type R feel very weird, lots of understeering/sliding around.

Hm it's not easy at all. Maybe it depends on your controller and what "simulation" type (professional, normal etc.) and/or aids you use..
I guess you won't believe it untill you've tried it yourself. But let me put it this way. You have been driving S1 too , right ? I think I remember you from the demo. Anyway.. I'm sure you've drivin the "old" XRT with the lame physics.. remember how that car could be quite a hands full..especially a "fast" oversteered setup ? That's kinda how GT5 feels like in a car like the Corvette Z06. It tends to understeer on corner entry (I'm talking about a "fixed" setup here..unchanged..) but mid-corner and corner-exit you can easily loose it. I'm driving with a G25 and it's not easy at all to catch it.
Maybe if you're cruising around with moderate speeds.. but I guess that's pretty obvious.

For me it's kinda the same, I'm having fun with both LFS and GT5:P. I've played the prologue yesterday and I must say, I really had tons of fun with the little Suzuki Cappuchino and the brutal Z06 Vette, especially the last one is pretty "twitchy" dare I say haha.. no more driving on rails for these cars with all aids off I can assure you. It kinda feels like driving the GTT Turbo back in S1..once it goes..forget it lol. Realistic ? I dunno.. but do I really care ? I'm having fun, that's for sure . Tonight I'll be racing OLFSL race with LX6.. that's fun..and then when that one is over I'll probably find myself playing GT5 again

Bawbag. About the invisible cars. I've read that this is some kinda penalty or something. When you hit a car hard enough it gives you a penalty , you can't accelerate and to prevent you from interfering with other ppl's race you turn "invisible". Or something like that. Yes.

Can't be that expensive. Doesn't have to be a fancy G25, just a regular wheel will do. Maybe in the future when your wallet allows it , buy something fancy. Any wheel (with FFB) is better then a mouse.

All imo of course. Do it. Buy a wheel. You won't regret it.
